Salsabilla Nur Widya, Sang Juara ke-3 NUDC 2020

Wakil Fakultas Pertanian, Salsabilla Nur Widya – mahasiswa Prodi Agribisnis 2018, berhasil memperoleh Juara ke-3 Seleksi National University Debating Championship (NUDC) 2020 tingkat ULM.

National University Debating Championship adalah kegiatan debat antar mahasiswa yang mengacu pada pengasahan kemampuan mahasiswa mengungkapkan ide dalam Bahasa Inggris, menuntut mahasiswa mampu menguasai pengetahuan global, menganalisis, membuat judgement, dan meyakinkan publik. Di dalam debat, mahasiswa  dihadapkan persoalan-persoalan nyata yang dihadapi suatu masyarakat atau bangsa. Mahasiswa harus mampu berposisi dan meyakinkan publik bahwa posisi mereka benar dan tepat.

We are very grateful that the faculty really support us.
For the preparation, we were trained by a professional coach provided by IAAS community for months.
Because of this pandemic, the competition was held with zoom application, so it was online debating. Alhamdulillah, during competition, the faculty provided us a room with wifi access.
Once again, I’m really grateful for all supports.
I think some advises for the juniors who want to join this competition are never give up and try to learn more and more.
